Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: I discovered it a long time ago when I wanted to listen to some songs from the game Geometry Dash, but back then, I didn't create an account since I wasn't really interested in the page for some reason, after that, I created an account a few months ago since I was starting to make drawings & compose music.

Q: A story behind the name DancarMar?

A:Here goes the story, it all starts when the pandemic started in 2020, I was creating some fictional stories in my mind, I created some characters, such as: Danielle, Yillian Thomson, Hillary O'malley, Álvaro schneider, Mr Sonnenholzner, among many others, but one of them was one that I created with my 2 names & my first last name, but instead of "DancarMar" it was called "Dancarman" this being a name of a superhero, later I changed it little by little until I was left with the username "DancarMar".

Q: What is a collab for you?

A: A collab according to me is like a meeting, where people meet with other people to agree to do something, such as drawings or music from different categories, doing each one in their own way & in their unique style.

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A:I became very interested at the age of about 10, 11 years old, I don't know exactly what age, what I know is that I was a minor, I really liked watching Cartoon Network or Hanna-Barbera cartoons, at that time, since I was literally a child, I wanted to make my own cartoons, later I became disillusioned because animating was not an easy task, much less at that age, that's why I went for traditional drawing, time passed & I wanted to start drawing again because when I was in class, I was bored & I wanted to do something, for some strange reason, I drew the super muscular Among Us crewmate, I think I did that because it was the game of the moment, then my best friend saw it & said it was very pretty, being born thus my motivation in drawing & polishing my style as time goes by!

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

A: This is a short story, I will tell it anyway, I am a big music lover, I love discovering new things, but there are some genres that are very popular in the continent where I live, also giving birth to my motivation to compose music based on my tastes & emotions that I would like to have when listening to music!

Q: Do you like making content?

A: I like to create content related to art & music, the best of all is that I do it totally FREE!

Q: Do you have any experience with Newgrounds?

A: As I had said, I discovered NewGrounds through Geometry Dash, there are also some things that became very famous on the internet that I didn't know came from Newgrounds, so it may be a 50/50, I don't know much, but I don't know little either.

Q: Any advice for people?

A: Ok, I have some tips that I would love to share with some of you, first of all, if you are starting to create content such as animations, simple or complex games, music, art, etc., don't get frustrated when almost no one has seen or heard what you You have published, I would tell you to put a lot of effort into it, but that desire goes away when the numbers don't go up, but, should I tell you something? It is much better that you start like this since you will not be very stressed when many people know you & then they start bothering you, "you have to finish the new chapter of such a serious thing, release a new musical album, WE WANT TO SEE MORE DRAWINGS!", yes If you start like this, you will be very mentally stable & ready for more people to know what you do, to the point where a 1 star review will serve as motivation for you to improve a lot & polishing that skill & talent that you have inside, remember that being famous Sometimes it's not a pretty thing, but it's your decision if you want to be or not.
