I started walking alone at night lately. It is pretty good, yet it can be lonely. I haven't experienced bad stuff such as crime, robbery, because streets are pretty safe. The only issue is when I went walking, some dogs and puppies would be active at night, and they bark at me. Since I live in Croatia, I think it is safer to walk here.
Is it worth it?
Not gonna scare you but, sometime if a dog barking doesn't mean you are completely safe, there is possible ghost nearby, try to get close to the dog, if they stop barking once you close, then they only barking at you or atleast scare them too

My bro, we might see mostly cats here but DOGS here are so... they're evil! I don't know! Especially the small ones! I was talking to my best friend while returning home if she wanted to hang out later and saw a dog trying to bite my leg! I begun running with that following me and yelling "MEET ME AT SIIIIIX" to my friend and she was LAUGHING. I RUN TWO BLOCKS WITH THAT THING RUNNING BEHIND ME UNTIL I REACHED A BAKERY. Holy-
But yeah, walking at night is pretty good, pretty refreshing.
