Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: I think I was aware of the site since 2019, but I knew about Pico and the other characters way before I knew about newgrounds (unrestricted internet access babyyyyyyy) and in 2021 when FNF had it's boom in popularity, I thought "eh, might as well join" and here we are!! Used to post here a lot in 2021, then had a 2 year hiatus and trying to return now!!

Q: A story behind the name SansyFedora?

A: Sansy is my display name that I've used since 2017, yes it comes from an undertale character, but it's been so long that it wouldn't feel right to change it now yknow. When I made my instagram account for art, I've used a few other display names, but the name "Sansy" was already taken. So I decided to do fedora_maniac, since my sona wears a fedora on her head, and I myself had a few (never wore them, I just liked hoarding up on hats). And later on in life where I needed a name longer than just Sansy, I used SansyFedora!!

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: I've been drawing crap ever since I was a wee baby, but I started getting into art first when I was 9, drawing on ms paint with a mouse on the family computer, then when I was 11, I switched to a drawing app on my phone and drew everything with my finger, then a year later I got my first samsung tablet with a stylus that I use to this day, and here we are. Also my drive for making art probably amped up when I started being more active online and discovering more artists and wanting to participate in the fun as well. Now I'm glued to a chair doing commissions or drawing an overabundance of pink, yippee!!!!!

Q: Do you like making content?

A: Depends on the day, sometimes I thrive while making my silly little pictures, sometimes I gotta force myself to pick up a pen, but tbh making art is one of the things that keeps me going, so in the long run, I'd say yea!! Tho outside of making content for people, I can also appreciate doing dumb doodles for your own sake, I think everyone should do that and have a nice balance between it all

Q: Do you have any experience with Newgrounds?

A: Technically I've been here for 3 years, but I'm still learning things everyday, like how the algorhythm works, or if there even is one. Sitting on regular social media does mess with your understanding of this, but it does seem more calm here, I might stay for a bit longer :)

Q: Any advice for people?

A: Don't overwork yourself, you will get that work done, but don't damage your health for it. Also back-up your files if you're working on a film/art/music/whatever cause corrupted files ain't fun. Also watch BigTop Burger by Worthikids it's really good

This one is the third collab I have organized on Newgrounds. My plan is to make these pictures as some kind of collage picture. Don't worry, you will get a project invitation. :)

A: well i start open my name anass2005pro on instragram on 2020 and "2005" that's a year when i was born and pro cause I'M A FUNKING PRO BICTHES and name "Anass" it's my real name i mean everyone can do his name on internet for excempo Markplayer Jacksepticeye Jaidenanimation and

Alan Becker and then on 2024 now i decide to change my name Anass2005pro in to AnassAnimationPro

cause "Anass2005pro" it don't sounds good for me but AnassAnimationPro sounds epic name cause i'm animator PRO!

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: for looking youtube artist digitals how they do and how they do PC but it was hard to draw PC so i decide be artist digital on android cause it's easy and you can draw perfectli use pencil digital or your fingers

A: well for wacth TV animations how people they do that and some memes animations on youtube get me intrested to do same myself try be animator using flipaclip cuase to be honest Adobe flash animations it's quite lame for me cause you must pay for some SFX you need it for your animation to working on and get it crash again it been well flipaclip it's get bit crash but it get annyoing to see stupids advertisements in matter of work i doing but i cna give flipaclip a changes

A: NEVER GET DOWN FOR HATERS AND FOR JEALESING PEOPLES

well it doesn't matter if your animations it was bit bad but if you try do correct and had some awesome SFX

and don't stop what you like do to

no matter if jealising people can do like accusing you as pedophile for stop the contects

or getting spam comments you can deleted them and no matter if you use lame app or software for your animations

or people think you are stupid loser nerd and cringe WHAT MATTER YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHO YOU ARE!

Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: Back in 2017-2018 (a year before i actually joined), i discovered the site from Geometry Dash, just like the majority of people here. But officially i started only in January of 2019.

Q: A story behind the name HelliXScream?

A: Almost no one knew, but the main inspiration for my name actually came from Transformers. It originated from Starscream, the character of the franchise, and i was using this name as my nickname.

But the birth the name i'm holding now, is the result of my imagination and play with the random names.

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

A: Most of the time, i listened a lot of EDM music, right untill i discovered the Hardstyle genre in 2017.

I had a lot of thoughts of how it feels to actually "create" - the art, music or anything else.

After 1,5 years, hardstyle grew on me really deep, so i finally made an decision to try to make music. And i don't regret it.

Q: Do you like making content?

A: Yep, because it's my primary hobby from the start (i never actually had hobbies, fun fact).

Q: Do you have any experience with Newgrounds?

A: Newgrounds holds my entire story, my whole journey started with it.

As probably one of not many producers who produces hardstyle as primary genre, i like bringing something new to the community, and during that, i made a lot of friends and colleagues. Even some legends, who saw something in me.

So the experience was, and it IS good.

Q: Any advice for people?

A: Never. Stop. Doing. What. You. Like.

Doesn't matter what others will think, say or other stuff. Do your thing and don't stop.

Don't be scared to experiment, that way you'll always bring something new, no matter how bad, how stupid, or how good it is.

Because one way or another, it will pay off.

Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: back when fnf started and everything, I didn't know much about it. or anything at all. but then someone said I had looked like Pico from fnf, then it got me hooked. (I also found one of my fav artists on here)

Q: A story behind the name DemonicPico?

A: at first, my name was going to be CorruptedSkid, but I scratched that idea. then I remembered how people said I looked like Pico, then it tied in with the fact that in my Catholic school days I was known as a demon. it was stupid, I didn't really know why people called me that. but then demonicpico came to life!

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: I had a friend back in grade 4, she was in grade 5. I was IN LOVE with her art, so she taught me how to make it. then when she had moved away, I developed my own style and my art was made even more

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

A: I hear beats, I hear interesting lyrics, so I make my own songs with it! i also enjoy writing poems, so I put the rhymes into songs

A: I do, but my works been lacking. I wanna make people happy, so I try to do what I can do to do that.

A: In the computer lab I found Interactive buddy and found some other games. Years later I made my account.

Q: A story behind the name BlakeyTakeyTheCakey?

A: I’m a huge portal fan and I wanted to reference “the cake is a lie” without making it too obvious. As for the “ey” parts I just wanted to see how long my username could be.

A: A group of people making something

A: I have been drawing for a while as a hobby and I wanted to post my art on newgrounds (bcuz deviant art SUCKS). I post art more often because animation takes a long time for me.

Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: Access to computers at a fairly young age and a fixation on Mario landed me on sites like Scratch as well as Newgrounds! Though I thought Newgrounds worked like Scratch, where you could author Flash content through the website. Got my gears turning creatively, at least. And after that I probably became one of the youngest people to ask for Adobe Flash! Even if no major projects became of that era of my life, kinda cool that a kid took out books at the library to teach themselves ActionScript. I also stuck with Scratch primarily for making things for a VERY long time.

Q: A story behind the name Dungeonation?

A: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon + Funimation (which I never even watched anything on)

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: I've always liked doodling little cartoons, but when I saw artwork I liked as a teen I'd get way too envious over it, and try (too hard) to improve without really getting anywhere. Nowadays I feel like I could draw pretty good if I was more consistent and disciplined.

Q: How did you get interested in making games?

A: Video games are a pretty sweet medium, and as soon as I discovered tools for making them (Flash, GameMaker, Adventure Game Studio, RPGMaker, Scratch...I went around the block!), I was having just as much fun making games as I was playing them! Some hobbies just stick hard. Just like back when I started, I still get immense joy from creating when I'm not burnt out. Usually when I'm at my computer I'm makin' stuff rather than playing games.

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

A: I come from a very musical family and one day I just started to get experimental on the piano. Then along came Undertale and, inspired, I made the jump to LMMS, and later FL Studio, slowly developing more and more skill and confidence. My music sounds very video game-y but that's been perfect for what I do, for the most part!

Q: What is a collab for you?

A: Combining your powers with someone to make somethin' even better! I really like directing people in a project, I'm naturally a very casual yet motivated director.

Q: Do you like making content?

A: Oh yeah.

Q: Do you have any experience with Newgrounds?

A: An old IRL friend of mine who also made games told me long ago not to join Newgrounds because of how critical they were of people's work. Granted, this was during the era of harsher reviews on the site, but they also said not to use GameMaker either, and I ended up not listening to either of those things!

Another good NG memory is after I joined and before gettin' more involved in 2020 - meeting my first NG friend, Megacharlie, and collabing together. He's a pretty cool and talented dude! We shared a lot of ambitious energy.

Q: Any advice for people?

A: MAKE STUFF! Find things that brighten your soul's light and incorporate it into your work. Make fanwork, even! Be disciplined, make it fun, and you can learn anything given enough time. Make it, and people and opportunities will come! Don't go chasing fame or social media engagement. BE TRUE TO YOURSELF, as long as it isn't illegal/amoral and harming yourself/others, DO IT!

A: I discovered Newgrounds a couple years back, but i didn't realize i had exposure to NG way back with castle crashers and alien hominid.

Q: A story behind the name SunnyFunny23?

A: So i have this very silly obsession with parappa the rapper, so i decided to put my user name as the flower character from the game and my lucky number. The username i normally use was taken, which is SunnyHoneypie23, which is a combination between sunny funny and my favortie song at the time honeypie.

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: When i was younger i was super into the original power puff girls and i would draw them all the time, then as time went i grew as an artist and now i draw to blow off stress and for fun, and hopefully one day for money haha

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

A: I love earthbound/ mother's soundtrack, its so mind blowing!! i also hope one day to break into the r&b scene but idk how to! i am also very much obsessed with music and will listen to whatever ppl recommend me!

A: Of course i do! i might be a small content creator but i do love doing what i do! i never expected a single follower so i mean 14 (as of writing this) is super cool!!

Answer: I wouldn't call it as me discovering it, as I was already aware of its existence if I remember correctly, I just didn't kinda care at the time????

but it's more like, me possibly being interested in joining the website sort of thing????

but if my memory serves me right, I think it was probably due to the fact that one day I was browsing through r/eddsworld and came across these cool remixes of fnf tord mod songs,

I decided to check out the user who made remixes of those, and that user happened to have newgrounds at the time, so I checked it out. (although sadly the user's account here is gone nowadays.)

I think that might've possibly been how I later got interested in joining newgrounds, me thinks?

Q: A story behind the name mawibblap?

Answer: I used gnome name generator and mawibblap was one of the results, I decided to use it as my username and here I am.

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

Answer: not sure to be honest, I don't remember what made me truly interested in drawing in the first place if at all,

but I have always been drawing ever since I was little, so here's that.

Q: How did you get interested in making music?

Answer: well that's a good question!

I've always been a huge fan of gabber, hardcore and speedcore! and I wanted to make my own music as well since that would be pretty cool, like I'll be able to express and make whatever I want to listen to so yeah! ☺

although, it sure has been a while since I made any, so maybe I should go back to making some in the future. :')

Q: Do you like Smeshariki?

Answer: of course I do!

I grew up watching smeshariki (also known as kikoriki, and gogoriki), it's basically my childhood, and I still sometimes watch it from time to time, if you haven't seen that cartoon before, I recommend checking it out if possible. ☺

(btw if you ask questions like this, it would've made more sense (for the lack of better wording.) if the question was more of "what do you like about certain thing" rather than "do you like certain thing" if it's already obvious that the person likes the certain thing. /lh)

Answer: not sure if I exactly understood what this question is trying to convey, but however, I'll try to answer it.

collab is when people come together and make their own thing become a part of a bigger thing if that makes any sense,

it can be a great start for those who are new to the community and wants to contribute and become a little bit well-known there, beside well, socializing.

Q: Do you like making content?

Answer: mostly yeah! well I always enjoy poasting my artwork (if I ever do.) on art portal because I get to see many people's thoughts in reviews and stuff like that, it's fun to read. :]

although, I do also procrastinate a bit alot when it comes to drawing so here's that. x'd

Answer: generally, I mostly had a pretty decent experience, although while there is not-so-great side of it, the decent parts tends to outweigh it.

the website itself is really awesome though, tom fulp really does care about the website and the community, and is always willing to help out any users who has any issues.

Answer: well, it's not perfect of course, but overall, most of the community here seems to be mostly decent,

but however I did meet many of the pretty cool users and even made some friends here, I kinda like it here. ☺

Q: Any advice for people?

Answer: boredom is good for you.

if you tend to procrastinate alot like me, try turning off the internet access and avoid anything else that distracts you and since now you don't really have anything else to do, there's a chance you'll be more likely to do productive stuff that you were meaning to do for a while,

I don't really follow my own advice when it comes to this sort of thing, but yeah, everytime my internet access gets randomly ka-poof'd out of nowhere, most of the time it tends to be a blessing in the disguise lol.

AND ALSO, don't obsess over numbers.

what I mean by that is that when you poast your content online, you shouldn't obsessively care too much about attention like for example, views, likes and stuff like that, because it can feel degrading if you happen to get less attention than usual,

just because you don't receive much attention DOES NOT mean your content sucks, it really shouldn't matter, as long as you enjoyed making it, that's all it really matters. ☺

and HERE'S ANOTHER ONE, the advice is...

generally, if you want to become somewhat well-known in the community like newgrounds, SOCIALIZE WITH THE COMMUNITY. (yes seriously.)

Q: How did you discover Newgrounds?

A: Although I'm not really sure how I discovered the site officially, but if I were to guess, it would be from randomly surfing the internet when I was a kid (I had unsupervised access, so I was finding all sorts of crazy stuff.)

Q: A story behind the name Carcitypilot31?

A: There's this website for Goldfish crackers called Goldfish Fun, one feature they used to have was that you could create an account and earn achievements from games and such. You weren't able to create your own username, you instead had to create one via a selection of different words, so I randomly chosen Carcitypilot31. This was around 2016.

Q: How did you get interested in making art?

A: When I was a kid, just like a lot of people, I grew up watching cartoons, like Spongebob, Looney Tunes, Wander Over Yonder, etc. I also liked reading MAD magazine (and I still do), I loved looking at the illustrations and had some of my favorite artists (Don Martin, Jack Davis, Will Elder, Basil Wolverton), I even made my own version of MAD called WAD. At school, I would draw random doodles of Oobi and the Backyardigans and make comics with them. Later, I would become obsessive with Hanna Barbera and I would draw the characters all the time.

Q: How did you get interested in making animations?

A: When I got my first computer, I would watch animations of Hoops and YoYo, some BFDI and it's many copycats, those weird Elsagate stuff (yes, I actually watched that kind of stuff), clips of old cartoons, just to name a few. Sometimes, little me would think "I want to make my own animations!". Although it took a while to actually learn animation, I would improve later on.

Q: What is a collab for you?

A: A collab is where a group of people get together and make one big project to show off their talents. Honestly, it's fun participating in them, It's nice to see people work together to make something.

Q: Do you like making content?

A: I love making content! Whenever I have a thought in my head, I would draw it out or make a cartoon about it, something like a MAD-esque parody of PaRappa or something. One thing I love doing is commercial parodies. In fact, one of my parodies "Charmin Basic Supermarket Madness", is the second most popular video on my YouTube channel!

Q: Do you have any experience with Newgrounds?

A: Yeah, it's nice seeing other's works and art styles and such. I love looking for art styles I like, so this site's like a goldmine for that!

Q: Any advice for people?

A: My advice would be to do your best. Even if you think your art's bad, that fine, keep trying! Be sure to listen to other critiques to help improve your art (not a lot of artists do that, though). Keep practicing, too, the more you do, the better. Like they say: Practice makes perfect!
